A few days later... [Jan. 12th, 2008|12:01 am]
In Between: A House Role Playing Game
Even though Noah was doing much better (thanks to House's diagnosis and getting him the drugs quickly), House had insisted the boy stay overnight for a night or two past that for observation. If all went well, then he'd be going home by Sunday.

As much as she wanted to argue with that, Lisa couldn't. Not when it was Noah. She'd do anything to make sure he was okay.

Which is why she was sitting at he desk Saturday morning waiting for Noah to wake up or James to arrive with the rest of the brood.

At the hospital... [Nov. 18th, 2007|10:17 am]

"All right...let's go..." Lisa ushered the kids out of the car and towards the hospital entrance. "You all go wait in my office. Your Dad or I will be there in a second," she handed Mike the keys to her office and then took off towards the ER.

She got there right as House and Wilson were bringing Noah in...the ducklings and Cameron rushing to help. Lisa fell in step beside them. "How's he doing?"

Home. Finally. [Oct. 15th, 2007|12:20 am]

Setting the Thai food out on the counter, Lisa had to admit that she was a bit surprised to find she was the only one home. Her meeting hadn't been terribly long, but it had been long enough that they should have made it in before her. She could only imagine what was causing the hold up.

She peeled the lid off the pad thai, sticking a fork in it as she heard the front door open. "In the kitchen!"

Like juggling fire... [Oct. 14th, 2007|09:56 pm]

Glancing down at the appointment book laying in front of her, Lisa was a bit dismayed to learn that she hadn't printed out her husband's schedule like she thought she had. This meant she had no idea if he was on rounds, in his office, or breaking and entering into a patient's home with House. As she dialed his extension, she really hoped it was the second option. If not, well...

Her eyes moved to the fidgety six-year-old sitting on the couch in her office, her dance bag clutched in her tiny hands. Emma had dance class in less than half an hour and once she was done, the boys would need to be picked up from their various after school activities/friend's houses. Normally, this wasn't a problem. But today there was a donor coming in, which meant she needed James to have the rest of his afternoon free.

"Pick up, pick up, pick up..."
